Setting a variety of early Marian texts, the set includes the gentle and expressive 'I sing of a mayden' and the fervent 'Hail, Star of the sea most radiant'. Re-scored for SATB and organ, the motets will be welcomed by choirs of all sizes looking for a more intimate introduction to Chilcott's magnificent landmark work.
