"Look Ahead Intermediate" books build on the language foundation provided in the first two levels of the series. The emphasis is on developing fluency and accuracy, with skills work, particularly writing. Literary texts are included, with extracts from different periods. The video workbooks are designed to help teachers get the most out of the classroom videos. They contain a range of lively activities linked to the different elements of the videos - drama, cartoons and real-life interviews. The videos and workbooks add an extra dimension to the main course materials, but can also be used on their own as freestanding supplementary material with an emphasis on developing cross-cultural awareness.
