This absorbing collection of images offers a nostalgic glimpse into the history of High Wycombe during the last century.Situated between the Chiltern Hills, High Wycombe's early prosperity was based on its watermills and the market which served a large surrounding area. Later, furniture making grew into a major local industry employing over a quarter of the town's population in the late Victorian era.
